Ms. Shillae Anderson; a Chicago native who many would agree was destined to be
a star. This DIVA turned “Business Mogul” seems to have life by the “horns” and
has a drive for success that continues to flatter and inspire millions around the
world. At the gentle age of 9 (nine) she was already becoming an American
sweetheart as she shocked the nation with her beautiful look and gifted
talents; after piercing the hearts of judges on the west coast, she was
crowned “Little Miss American Beauty” (1990) and “Little Miss Black Los
Angeles”(1991).
Shillae was exposed to the industry at a very young age; however her
family stressed the importance of education and academic excellence.
Her parents kept her involved in a variety of activities ranging from
Sports (basketball, track, & volleyball) to Dance (tap, jazz, &
modeling) which ultimately helped shape her impressionable
personality. Ms. Shillae was an excellent student throughout her
young academic career… attending a prestige elementary school,
and later becoming an exceptional student at one of Chicago’s
top ranking high schools “Kenwood Academy”.
Unlike most teens her age who were trying to decide what dress to
wear to the Junior prom or what color lipstick to use for their first
date, Shillae was pursuing her modeling career taking numerous
head shots and breathing life into cameras around the Chicago
metropolitan area. With a developing interest in law and medicine
the young star reached a turning point in her career that would
redirect her view and reaffirm her dream of being a famous face
to remember. Being challenged by a close friend and encourage
by her mom Shillae auditioned for a print ad with Jet Magazine
and was chose to be the “Beauty of the Week”, becoming the
eye candy for admirers and the envy of young women around
the country.
After graduating from high school in 1999, Shillae moved to
Los Angeles to pursue a life dream of becoming a star. She
enrolled at California State University in Northridge and
majored in Business Accounting. Having developed a keen sense of determination, confidence; and a relentless drive to
succeed, she quickly signed with a modeling agency and made her presence felt immediately in the industry becoming the print ad’s “gorgeous face” for Motions Hair Care Products one of the USA’s leading distributors of hair care products supplying markets in over 7 countries. She also booked numerous print jobs, including fashion layouts for various magazines, hair ads, and calendars around the world.
In late 2001 Shillae decided to take her career to new heights and pursued other media outlets… She landed roles in numerous Music videos working with Grammy Award winner Justin Timberlake, Multi Platinum Artist Ja Rule, and R&B’s heartthrob Multi Platinum Recording Artist Avant to name a few… Now having her feet wet behind the camera and successfully crossing over to the big screen this business savvy Diva transposed her talents to acting in 2002, landing
leading roles and features in numerous movies, television sitcoms, and commercials. Even after years of hard work and an extensive resume that can easily be a “blueprint” for aspiring young talents, she claims that “she is just getting started”!
Shillae continues to elevate her game, becoming aventure capitalist with business ventures ranging from real estate to small business development. She is an inspiration to many and has staked a significant claim in the entertainment print media world!
